    December 8 is the last day of the Intensive English Program for ESL 091, 092, 093 and 094.

    Housing Information: Early Arrival:  We do not recommend arriving before January 5th.  

    Although all residence halls of Michigan State University will be open for Spring Semester 2017 beginning Thursday, January 5th, at 8:00 a.m. for new international students who have a confirmed reservation, the ELC will not be scheduling any activities before January 6th.   

    Students arriving prior to January 5th will need to find alternate housing. Book your hotel room as far in advance as possible. Hotel options are available at:  http://oiss.isp.msu.edu/documents/students/hotelsmap.pdf

  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration

    Each year on the third Monday in January, Michigan State University faculty, students, and staff join with members of the Lansing community to celebrate the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. and to reflect on his message of civil rights and social justice for all through nonviolent means.

    Events are being planned around campus and in the neighboring community.
