Carlee Salas is originally from Missouri where she graduated from Saint Louis University with degrees in English and International Studies. While at SLU she worked in the ESL office and was introduced to the field of Teaching English as a Second Language. Being in the classroom with students from all around the world felt like a natural fit for her, so from Missouri she traveled to beautiful Monterey, CA for her M.A. in TESOL at the Monterey Institute of International Studies. After graduating, she worked at three universities in Missouri before moving to Mexico with her husband. In Mexico, she taught English at Colegio Americano de Saltillo for four years before relocating to Michigan in 2009. Although she loves teaching a variety of classes, her favorites are writing and content. When she is not teaching, Carlee enjoys spending time with her husband and son, reading, and being with friends.
