Dave Ragan came to the ELC as an Instructor in August 2009. He graduated from The Singapore American School. He has an AA from Miami-Dade College and BAs in History and English, and an MS in TESOL from Florida International University. Dave has taught in Japan, the United States and Malaysia. He has given over thirty presentations on various ESL and EFL topics notably on Learning to Learn, Accelerated, and Brain-based Learning. He has published seven articles including two on story-telling. He has designed and facilitated five multi-day teacher training seminars. Two of Dave’s three children are graduates of MSU. He lives in Okemos with his youngest son during the academic year and in Malaysia with his wife in the summer. He cycles to work year round.
