Each ELC staff member plays a critical role in supporting faculty instruction and students on their language learning journey. We’d like to give you the opportunity to get to learn more about them and their part in creating ELC’s welcoming learning environment.
Amadou Jallow is originally from Banjul, Gambia and began working as an Accounting Clerk and Budget Assistant at ELC in early 2020. When asked what he enjoys the most about working at ELC, he says, “The people, both students and staff, are by far the best part.”
Amadou currently resides in East Lansing, Michigan with his wife. A polyglot, he speaks English, Fulani, and Wolof fluently. In his freetime, he enjoys playing soccer and keeping up with professional basketball and football. His favorite spot on MSU’s campus is Wells Hall — hopefully with B230 as his favorite room!
