Join course instructors Leah Addis, Luca Giupponi, and Austin Kaufmann for the Foundations of Language Teaching course, designed to give you an in-depth look into the international approaches, methods, settings, and materials for Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). The course also provides an overview of macro-level skills (i.e. listening, speaking, reading, and writing) and effective lesson planning, with a focus on instructional objectives, assessment, and classroom management.
Like all of the Online Certificate in TESOL courses, Foundations of Language Teaching is a fully online course that you can take from anywhere in the world. Our open enrollment policy allows you to start at any time and move at your own pace. The course can be taken as part of our full certificate program or individually.
