MSU President Stanley shared the following message with the campus community.
Spartans,
This week marks a year of remote instruction, study or work for many of us at Michigan State University as well as contributions from those who have remained on campus. As we note this significant but somber milestone, we also should recognize how much determination and compassion Spartans have shown during this difficult time.
I’m writing to express my deep gratitude for your extraordinary efforts over the last 12 months, conveyed in my video message above. As we move forward, let’s also recognize how far we’ve come. We can look forward to brighter days ahead. And if we’ve learned one thing in the past year, it is that we will get through this together.
Thank you, and please continue to take care of yourself and those around you.
Samuel L. Stanley Jr., M.D.
