College of Arts & Letters Student Emergency Fund

The College of Arts & Letters Emergency Fund provides short-term financial assistance to students who are in danger from withdrawing during a semester due to unanticipated, temporary financial hardships resulting from an emergency or crisis situations (e.g., accident, illness, death of a family member).

Donations will be used to assist students who encounter an unforeseen financial emergency which would otherwise prevent them from continuing their education. Funds may be used for books and other essential academic expenses, safety needs, travel costs related to a family emergency, etc. Your gift is directly helping students receive the assistance they need in order to continue their education. If you are looking for a way to help from afar and have the means to do so, we encourage you to consider a donation to this fund at https://givingto.msu.edu/crowdpower/arts-and-letters-emergency-fund
