Ms. Yoko Omori was first introduced to Michigan through her English language tutor, Ms. Marilyn Schlief, when Marilyn taught in Shiga Prefecture during a teaching exchange. Within the decade after that encounter, Yoko continued her studies through a summer term at our ELC in 1997. She and Marilyn recently stopped by to visit us with Yoko’s daughter, Karen, currently a student at Kyoto University. We’re always delighted to welcome back former students and learn where their English language studies have taken them!
