The spring came to a terrific conclusion last week at the MSU English Language Center. Our pleasure in celebrating a productive and successful semester is tinged with a touch of sadness as we all head our own ways into summer break. Many of our current students will return home to continue their academic studies, while we will look forward to welcoming our returning students back in a few months.
Several students were given scholarship awards from the Dr. Wu-Yi So Memorial Scholarship. The ELC was pleased to extend three awards this semester from the generosity of the Dr. So family and friends. In addition to the scholarship awardees, the faculty and staff awarded two students with the Outstanding Performance Award in their respective classes. Yitian He and Jintao Fu were this semester’s recipients.
