What a night! The first-ever ELC/JPN Karaoke Event was a huge success!
With more than 70 participants, the inaugural event exceeded expectations! Students from both language backgrounds stepped outside their comfort zones and took on the challenge of singing in their target language, while native speakers offered incredible encouragement and support.
The evening was filled with music, laughter, and new connections. Whether meeting for the first time or reconnecting with friends, students found a fun and welcoming way to share their languages and cultures.
A huge thank-you to the ELC who helped make this event possible through their support with the venue (Wells B129), funding, and supplies. We are grateful for your generosity and enthusiasm!
We look forward to making this a tradition!
