English Partners in Communication – Hybrid again in 2024!
EPIC (English Partners in Communication), offered by the TESOL program, returns in the spring to help adult nonnative speakers of English to develop their oral communication skills. Classes are available at different levels of proficiency with experienced teachers and conversation partners who provide opportunities to build vocabulary and develop confidence in speaking English in different situations.
Classes are held on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Eastern time and on Thursdays from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. Eastern time. In the spring, our Tuesday classes will be held in Wells Hall on the MSU campus. To accommodate both local and distant participants, our Thursday classes will be held virtually on Zoom. PLUS for even more interaction between our teaching teams and participants, we will have a new EPIC Community Discussion Board using Flip. Time zones won’t matter on Flip!
Registration for classes is done online. A link to begin the registration process will be available on our website where more information is posted: https://elc.msu.edu/special-programs/epic/ If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Debra M. Hardison, hardiso2@msu.edu.
