Amy Kroesche is a student advisor and instructor at the English Language Center. She got her BA in English from Northwestern College in Iowa and her MA in TESOL from Michigan State University. As an advisor, she has many roles including the planning and organizing of orientation and extended orientation workshops. She has more than eighteen years of teaching experience both internationally and in several places around the U.S. Her primary areas of interest include teacher training, reading fluency, strategic reading, and using literature – especially young adult literature – to teach ESL. When she’s not teaching or advising, she’s reading a good book, adventuring somewhere, or giving in to her coffee and tea (yes, both!) habit.
