Born and raised in Bergamo, Italy, Luca Giupponi has lived in the United States for the last ten years. After a career in music, Luca decided to switch gears and began teaching Italian at Arizona State University. Following that experience, he earned an MA in TESOL/Applied Linguistics, with a specialization in Computer-assisted Language Learning, form Iowa State University. In 2013 he started working at MSU as an instructor for the ELC and as an educational technology specialist for the Center for Language Teaching Advancement (CeLTA). His professional interests include the use of technology and social media to foster language acquisition, language testing, and curriculum development. In his abundant spare time, Luca enjoys photography, traveling, and cooking.
